Sarah Usher was born (1982) in Wellington, New Zealand. She studied at Elam School of Fine Arts and holds a BFA. She has been painting since 2013 and specialises in oil portrait painting. She has been a finalist in the Wallace Art Awards, the Molly Morpeth Award and The Parkin Drawing prize.
